This simple sweater is worked sideways, all in one piece. The neckline is created by dropping the working yarn, attaching another, and working the front and back with two yarns at the same time. The circular needles are used only for their length. You will not connect the work to work in the round at any point during the pattern. The yarn, Mondial Oggi, has such a soft flowing drape that the resulting sweater is flattering and cozy. If substituting yarn, be sure to find a yarn that has a very soft and flowing hand, or knit with larger needles than recommended to get a flowing drape. The finished sweater is meant to be somewhat oversized, but because it is knit sideways, the lengthwise stretch will make it a bit more snug around your curves than the measurements suggest.

Difficulty: Advanced beginner.
