STYLE

A great transition piece for fall when a coat is too much and a sweatshirt just doesn’t measure up! Great for indoors as well. This piece is a snap to knit and easy to throw on and look pulled together.

SKILLS NEEDED

Stitch markers that open – safety pins or yarn scraps can be used as an alternative
Tape measure
Tapestry Needle
Brother 260 Knitting Machine – I used Tension 7 rib and 9 for the body. Please remember that after knitting up your swatch, your tension may change. This would also work on any other Bulky knitting machine such as the Brother 230 or 270 or Silver Reed’s Bulky 155.

YARN
We used Classic Elite’s Chalet or Chateau (70% baby alpaca, 30% bamboo 98 yards/50 grams)
Small 11 skeins, Medium 12 skeins / Large 13 skeins. We provide this yarn in a kit as well.

Gauge- 3.5 stitches and 5.875 rows = 4” square in Stockinette Stitch using tension 9. Your knitting machine may vary. Knit a swatch first!
