Faith-Hope-Love is based on an older design of mine which i have now reworked and altered with new instructions and a redesigned fully double-knitted slouch crown for this new series of three double-knitted hats. Faith features a cross symbol; Hope has a candle flame; and Love is the heart motif. Each hat is fully reversible and double-knitted throughout, so you get two hats for one! (Or six hats for three).

Some experience with double-knitting will be helpful - but not totally essential if you are not a novice knitter. An italian tubular cast on in 2 colours is used to begin the project.

Uses approx 120 yards each of two contrasting colours in DK 8ply merino/blend. Sample knit in Malabrigo Dos Tierras, in Indiecita and Pearl. You will need a 3mm and a 3.5mm circular needle on 40cm cables, and 3.5mm DPNs or a long cable for the crown decreases.

Size will fit most teen/adult heads and measures 26cm wide at brim and 22cm high. Intended to be worn with a small to moderate degree of slouch at the crown.
