This is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It’s heavier than a shawl, but just the ideal weight for a spring or fall evening, or even if you’re sensitive to air conditioning in the summer. It knits up fairly quickly and would make the ideal gift, for yourself of someone that’s special to you. It is made up of two different lace stitches that are both written out line by line, and charted. The final size is 18 inches by 72 inches, but there are ways to vary the size contained within the pattern. There are also instructions for two different types of edgings contained within the pattern. The one shown in the sample is a “knitted-on” ruffle edging. There are also instructions for a crocheted edging, should you prefer that one.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport (undyed).

This pattern was expertly tested by Edie Swartz who can be contacted at: swartzej@ gmail.com, and is known on Ravelry as autumngirl84.
