I designed these simple wristbands as gifts for the amazing LGBTQ friends and family in my life.
I’m straight, and have been happily married to my amazing husband for almost 2 decades.
I’ve never thought it was fair that others were denied the same right to be legally married to the person they love, and for that reason, I’m a proud ally to humans of all genders and orientations.
The world can be tough, and I’m all for anything that brings a bit more love into this place we call home.

You’ll need 2-3 grams of each color yarn per wristband - perfect if you have scrap yarn!

I’ve included the Encore colors I chose within the pattern.

So far, I’ve done Genderqueer, Bisexual, and Pride wristbands - but any flag colors can be substituted for the orientation you wish to display / support.

  • Small = Up to 7” Wrist
  • Medium = Up to 8” Wrist
  • Large = Up to 9” Wrist

The gauge isn’t absolutely crucial, as they were deliberately designed to have lots of stretch.
The gauge is measured unstretched.

Please bind off loosely, so that the wristband will be comfortable to wear.
