This lovely shawl will remind you of sun kissed beaches. It begins with a stockinette and garter stitch section that is a play on the tiny ridges you find across the sand in the early morning as high tide recedes, and ends with delicate eyelet sections that look like the foam on the tiny waves that lap the beach during the day.

Materials:
This shawl was designed for a nice slow color changing yarn. Here are two suggestions:

Wolle’s: 1 150 gram skein of Wolle’s color changing cotton: link text or you could also use 1 100 gram skein of color changing cotton with 2 solid 50 gram skeins matching the colors at either end

Miss Babs: 1 set of six yummy 2-ply gradient toes. Be sure to get a true gradient set! They have lots of them available right now! link text
