Lumielle Cushion Block
Lumielle — the name itself echoes snowflakes, moonlight, crystalline geometry, and quiet magic. Rooted in the
Finnish word Lumi, meaning “snow,” it carries the hush and shimmer of winter’s breath.
Lumielle is a generous size cushion block and is worked in rounds using overlay mosaic crochet.
Highlights of this pattern:
Overlay pattern is worked in rounds so you work with one color for one round without cutting the yarn, this eliminates the need of fastening off and weaving in ends.
Pattern contains PDF instruction with photos, print friendly version and a photo tutorial for moving slip stitch method used in joining the rounds.
Sample is made with sport weight cotton yarn and measures around 16”, you can substitute the yarn with your choice of yarn, yardage and gauge requirements may vary.
As with many of my other patterns, the pattern instructions for Lumielle Cushion Block too comes with lot of helpful photos for each round.
Pattern is currently on introductory discount so do not hesitate to grab your copy :slightly_smiling_face:
