Luna or the #lunateetop is a cropped and slightly oversize tee/sweater with a lace yoke, worked in Aran yarn. Sleeve and body length can be adjusted according to personal preference as well as the ease.
It works up really fast thanks to the aran yarn and the double trebles worked in circles for the body. Luna has a seamless top down construction with choice of short capped sleeves or long contrast sleeves.
The yoke color differs from the rest of the garment, and being worked in the round, creates a moon like crescent shape, hence the name!

This pattern is flexible and instructions are given as to where modifications can take place to make sure it is truly size/shape inclusive. It requires the maker to try the tee often and adjust /add stitches for a perfect fit.
The gauge depends on hook size and increases with sizes, i.e you will use hook 5 for a small, hook 6.5 for a 2XL for instance.
I was inspired to crochet an easy version of the beautiful cropped knits such as the Soldotna or the Weekender I could see on Ravelry. Luna is the result and is my first design.
Tutorials and technical help is available daily on my Facebook group. I can also be contacted on Instagram.
You will need approx. 70g aran yarn for the yoke and 250-300 gr for the body.
