This pattern was written to celebrate my Local Yarn Shop’s anniversary. It is such a special place to spend time knitting and visiting with the lovely ladies and gentlemen there.

The stocking is knit using knit and purl stitches in different patterns to create a unique design. Perfect for a beginning sock knitter and interesting enough for a more experienced knitter.

The pattern can easily be adjusted for size by changing the needle and/or yarn size.

The ribbing at the ankle allows the sock to be snug and the texture keeps it from sagging.

This sock will work up nicely in that special skein of lightly speckled yarn or a pretty tonal.
