Here is a fun fair isle hat to which you can add my optional giant pom pom! Knitted in 4 ply acrylic chenille and oddments of 4 ply acrylic. (Although it can be knitted in any 4 ply yarn which knits up to the same tension.) Great for using up very small amounts of yarns. Designed for standard gauge punchcard / electronic machines with ribbers. Skill level; INTERMEDIATE. The pattern is written in eight sizes, from premature baby through to man’s extra large head.

Although I have knitted the hat in bold colours, it can be made in a selection of neutals, baby pastels or bright neons, depending which member of the family you are knitting for.
