This hat is worked in two phases. Starting with a provisional cast on, you work the sides of the hat, finishing off with the top. You then pick up the provisional to work the brim from the sides of the hat to the edge. It is worked this way for the slip stitch pattern on the sides of the hat. This is my second design using “Fixation” - I love working with it! Because of the stretch factor, this hat can fit a variety of head sizes!
