Maple syrup & apple cider are two of my favorite New England treats in the fall- every fall, my family & I go apple picking at the orchard down the road and load up on apple cider. It’s fresh, local, and sharply crisp. Something we discovered we could do this year is complement that edge with a smidge of maple syrup.
As I was working on this hat, we took our yearly field trip down the backroads to our favorite orchard. Both our children were big enough to pick the apples themselves this year, & we celebrated with our new cider!

The colorwork is surprisingly simple and clean, while the “sticky” rustic BT works perfectly to help you maintain tension. Video tutorial on how I work stranded colorwork in the round can be found on the Plum Dandi tutorial thread!

Errata: Round 5 of chart is missing two stitches- disregard and work across in CC
