This pattern is available for free.

Two contrasting colors of Cascade 220 SW Heathers is plenty to knit 2 newborn hats. You may possibly have enough yarn left over to use for contrast colors on another hat as well.

The brown beanie was knit with Cascade 220 SW Heathers. (worsted weight)
The orange square hat was knit using Mission Falls 1824 Wool. (aran weight).

Both versions knit on us #6 dpn’s
