This asymmetric poncho is very quick to make, can be made in a variety of yarns and is very warm and comforting. It is named after a very good friend of mine who has been given this nickname, because being in her presence is like being enveloped in a big warm hug. The main body is worked in a V stitch with ribbing for the collar and edges. The picture above shows a version in James C Brett Marble Chunky but I have successfully worked this pattern with 2 strands of double knit worked together to give a very similar tension. Sized from Age 2 to an adult XL this is a very versatile pattern. For finished measurements see the schematic.

I hope you will enjoy my pattern.
