Marley the Snow Bear loves the cold, especially when it snows and he can make snow angels. He loves watching Frozen and his favourite song (of course) is ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman?’

Getting an exact gauge is not important for this project.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

  • This item is a PDF that you download through Ravelry
  • The finished bear ends up approximately 12cm tall sitting down (including beanie with pom-pom) using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller toy and vice versa
  • Gauge is not important - just make sure the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through
  • The pattern is available in US terminology
  • The 19 page pattern includes step-by-step instructions for assembling your bear

MATERIALS

  • Head, ears, muzzle, body, arms, legs, and tail: 8 ply (DK) cotton in brown - approx. 20g / 49m / 54yd
  • Beanie, body, arms, and gloves: 8 ply (DK) cotton in white - approx. 16g / 39m / 43yd
  • Buttons and boots: 8 ply (DK) cotton in black - approx. 4g / 10m / 11yd
  • Scarf and gloves: 8 ply (DK) cotton in red - approx. 4g / 10m / 11yd
  • Black thread to embroider eyes and nose
  • Small amount of orange yarn to embroider beanie
  • 3mm crochet hook for 8 ply (DK) cotton
  • Yarn needle
  • Polyester fiberfill stuffing
  • 25mm pom-pom maker
