Mavis is a cozy cocoon style cardigan with a comfortable relaxed fit. This style will go well for a day around the house, or as a light fall layer…

I was inspired to design this sweater from a British fashion catalog, I wanted a similar shrug without the $189 price tag and in a more easy-care fiber.

Easy to knit in a worsted weight yarn.

Construction notes:
Shrug is worked in pieces from the bottom up. Sleeves are worked at the same time as the body, shaped with increases and then with bind off sections or short rows. After seaming, the sleeve edgings and button band are picked up and worked.

Size: XXS (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL)
Shrug is loose and oversized with deep armholes and a free-form bust

Circumference at sleeve base: 32 (34, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52)”/ 81 (86.5, 91.5, 101.5, 112, 122, 132)cm

Length: 25 (25, 25, 26, 26, 26, 26)”/ 63.5 (63.5, 63.5, 66, 66, 66, 66)cm
