Pattern has been revised and an additional size added.

Maylin is an adult-sized, calf-length sock that features a decorative panel down the front of the leg and foot, and ribbing at the back for stretchiness. The panel highlights the colour differences in a semi-solid colourway and the rib at the back ensures the sock expands and contracts to fit a variety of leg sizes.

Knitted top down with a heel flap, it would work best in a solid or subtle semi-solid sock yarn.

This is a written pattern but I have also included a chart for the decorative/lace panel. I’ve also added guidelines for using 1 or 2 circs instead of DPNs.

A big thank you to helle007 who tested the pattern and graciously allowed me to use her photograph.

Thank you to debrajmc, snowpansy, mckknit, Mktop & BradleyAnn1 for testing the pattern.
