This motif was designed to support the ‘rent a sheep’ scheme with Meadow Farm and was available free to those who rented sheep. That program has now finished but you can still purchase the yarn and learn about their work here

The motif can be made in any weight of yarn provided you use a suitable hook size, and can be used in so many ways. I made mine into a cushion but it could be used in blankets, scarves, anything!

Typically using a dk yarn and 4mm hook the size is 12.5cm across and using 4ply/fingering yarn and a 3mm hook it is 10cm across.
