Mebonden
Among all the patterns in this club, these are the most archetypal Selbu mittens, and arguably also the most intuitive pair to knit. The idea is that we start simple, and then pair by pair build up confidence and ability to tackle more intricate colourwork design.
I named this pattern Mebonden, after the centre village of Selbu where their administraton, the Selbu church and the annual Selbumartnan is located (a martnan is a traditional Norwegian market, tracing back to medieval times).
If you need any help with this pattern then this topic in my group is the best place for support.
