These little, delightful bags are named for my longest
running friendship with twin sisters, Melanie & Melissa.
There are two bag lengths, two lace patterns, & two
handle styles to choose from.
Yarn: 1 (for short) or 2 (for tall) hanks of Berocco Seduce
(100yds(91m)/40g, 47% Rayon, 25% Linen, 17% Silk, 11%
Nylon); If you choose to make a tall first, you will have
plenty of yarn to make the short from your second hank.
Other materials: ¼ yard of fabric for lining, matching
sewing thread
Needles: US 6/4mm 16” circular, US 6/4mm set of 2 dpns
Tools: stitch markers (3 types or colors), tapestry needle,
stitch holders or waste yarn

*The pattern does not list gauge because it is not too important, but it is listed above.
