Sometimes you just need to celebrate. Today I am celebrating one year of publishing knitting patterns. Whether you are celebrating a wedding, a graduation, a new dress, or a pretty day, this stole brings the party with you wherever you go.

Materials
• 600 yds, 550m laceweight yarn. Sample shown in Baruffa Cashwool, 100% wool 100g, 1460 yds/1335m
• 1566 size 8/0 beads
• US sz 3/3.0mm, or size needed to obtain gauge, circular needle
• stitch holder
• yarn needle for weaving in ends

Gauge
31 sts and 38 rows per 4”/10cm in stitch pattern
Gauge is not overly important. Choose a needle and yarn combo that gives a pleasing result. Using a larger needle will cause you to use more yardage.

Measurements
72”/183cm long and 11”/29cm wide

Notes
• Stole is worked from each end in two halves and grafted in the center.
• There are four different streamers. All four can be beaded in the same color or you can use different colors. Each long streamer uses 451 beads. Each short streamer uses 332 beads. I used two colors of beads. The long streamers used silver lined, matte finish purple beads. The short streamers used dark green lined, transparent green beads with AB finish. The long streamer starts on Row 71 on the left side of the work. The short streamer starts on Row 35.
• All beads are placed individually using the crochet hook method. First, spear the bead with the crochet hook. Second, transfer the stitch to be beaded from the needle to the hook. Third, slide the bead down over the hook and onto the stitch. Last, transfer the stitch back to the needle.
• Both charted and written instructions are included. Written instructions begin on page 2 and charted instructions start on page 8.
