What am I missing?
Miara
Miara is the third of a small series of striped shawls. The first one, Aviendha, was published in November 2012 and the second one, Assante, was released in December 2012.
All three patterns are available as ebook as well to a discounted price if you bought one of the patterns before. (Each pattern is available for 3.90 EUR single, and the ebook is avialable for 8.00 EUR. If you bought one of the patterns before, 3.90 EUR will automatically be deducted from the ebook price upon purchase.)
Miara is a triangular shawl with gradient colorplay, worked top-down.
It strongly depends on your color choice what style your finished shawl will have. If you choose decent colors, the result will be rather elegant. If your colors are fresh and crazy, the shawl will be, too! It’s surprising how different the results can be, so it’s well worth knitting it a second time in different colors, too!
Miara is a very easy to knit shawl. It’s knit entirely in garter stitch, so there are no purls. Shaping of the shawl is done by working increases.
Yardage requirements: about 50g laceweight in color B (bright green) and 100g laceweight in color A (dark green)
Many thanks to Nadeshda, Cartucha, drillis351, oneyarn, suzybluesocks, Jeany, echeverialaui, Karina08, taunusmaedel and conniesphaere for test knitting!
