Beetles Crochet Pattern

The pattern contains 11 pages of instructional material accompanied by 80 photos.
Basic crochet skills are a prerequisite.

To crochet these Micro Beetles, you will need:

o Embroidery floss (I used floss Gamma):
o In blue and dark blue for Rosalia Batesi.
o In lilac for Magdalis Barbicornis
The thinner is the thread, the smaller is your finished toy, and vice versa.
o Black sewing thread (to wrap long horns of the bigger beetles)
o 0.3 mm black wire for bead weaving (for the antennae)
o 0.5 mm black metal (copper blend) wire for the legs.
o 0.5 mm crochet hook.
o 0.4 mm crochet hook.
o Gel super glue
o Gel clear glue
o Thin strong needle.
o Sharp manicure scissors, pliers.
o Black acrylic paint for toning, golden color paint and flat synthetic brush.
o Fiber filler.
o Toothpick or a broken felting needle to use as a stuffing tool.
