While growing up in Wisconsin, I went to school in the Unity School District. Students are bussed in from three towns, Milltown, Balsam Lake, Centuria, and the surrounding areas.

Milltown is the first of three shawls from my Unity Collection, that are named after those towns. Each shawl is constructed using two different fibers. The unity of the different fibers are reminiscent of the unity of the communities that make up Unity School District.

Milltown is a slightly asymmetrical, triangular shawl that is worked from side to side. Great as a shoulder warmer, worn as a bandana, or as a scarf. It transitions wonderfully from casual wear to an elegant evening wrap.
