Square or triangular, often featuring a garter stitch center and feather and fan border, haps enthuse knitters all over the world. Mini Hap Cowl is a lightweight interpretation of the traditional Shetland cosy shawls.

Hybrid accessory between cowl and shawl, the heavy laceweight version will provide a little warmth for those chilly summer evenings, while the fingering version will bring some cosiness around your neck when colder days settle.

The PDF which is available to purchase here is the expanded version of the Mini Hap Cowl which was first published in Knit Now Magazine (July 2015). It now contains instructions for 5 sizes and is shown in both fingering weight (sock yarn) and heavy laceweight yarns. It is a great stash buster, perfect for those odds and ends leftovers from other projects.

Mini Hap Cowl was first published in Knit Now magazine, Issue #50, featuring Mabel & Ivy Coast yarn (Heavy Laceweight) and contained 3 sizes only (S, M, L).
