This cardi is a great stash-buster because for sizes 2, 4, 6 & 8, can be worked with one skein of fingering weight sock yarn! Any Sport or DK weight yarn with a 22 sts/4” gauge can be used too.

Just like the adult version of this cardigan, Emergency Landing Cardi the child’s cardigan is worked in fingering weight yarn at a looser gauge that results in a wonderfully draping fabric.

The cardi is worked from the top down, with short length sleeves that end above the elbow. Because of its top-down construction, it can be tried on and easily customized during the knitting.
