This is adapted from an idea with instructions which I saw in an issue of Family Circle Knitting magazine, circa 2000. I am not the designer and do not know exactly to whom credit is owed, but in the interest of fairness and truth I have updated the Ravelry pdf file removing my copyright and any claim to its original design. I published this pattern on Ravelry in 2008 and only now fully realize that I was falsely claiming copyright - being a Raveler has helped me to understand that.
Sharing this project freely with the Ravelry community has made so many folks happy though - I hope it will be evident that my doing so comes from the heart. -Edited by Sharon Spence, July 2011
