Note: The pdf for this pattern is 14 pages long. Mostly this is due to the fact that the sweater begins with a series of short rows that need to be described in detail, row by row. However the difficulty level of this sweater is an intermediate level (it’s really not that hard)!
Please also note that this sweater is knit with two strands of yarn held together.

Construction
This sweater starts by casting on stitches for the back shoulders and neck. Short rows are worked to shape the top back area and then the knitting continues down to the underarm. Stitches are then picked up from the cast-on edge of the back and the front is worked as a mirror image with neck shaping added in.
The fronts and back are then joined at the underarm and the body is worked in the rnd down to the hem.
Stitches are picked up around the armholes to work the sleeves.

The overall style/shape of this sweater is similar to a dolman sweater but with more fitted sleeves.

Because the sweater begins with short rows it is strongly recommended to swatch in the two stitch patterns used in order to become familiar with how to execute them and in order to check gauge.
