A lovely addition to your fall wardrobe Mneme is knit in a fingering weight singles giving it just the right amount warmth for crisp autumn days or winter in the deep south. Mneme is best knit with a yarn that has long color changes such as Mini Mochi.

This hat was designed for a three year old with the intention that the hat be able to be worn for multiple years so that it grows with the child. The fit is designed to be more of a slouchy hat or beret for a toddler and tightening into a beanie as the child grows so that you can get several years growth out of the hat. The hat has a lot of stretch and can be worn by an adult also. If one wanted to knit this hat for an adult and keep the slouchy aspect I would advise changing to a dk or worsted yarn.

I designed this lovely hat for my granddaughter and I hope you enjoy the hat as much as she does.
