The beauty of the möbius loop for knitting and crochet is that you get to work either side of the foundation chain, so that you start your work in the middle and move outwards.

People will be fascinated when you hand over your mitts and let them twist and try to work them out!

Difficulty
4/10 (links to video tutorials provided for skills required)

  • chain
  • single crochet
  • half-double-crochet
  • double crochet
  • increase and decrease

The crocheting is very easy, getting the initial twist correct is the tricky part. Please find a flat surface and a quiet few minutes to work through the first few rows of pattern. Follow the images and instructions for these rows very carefully to obtain the mirror image twists.

Please take the time to check your gauge.

Versions
V3 standardises the instructions, and adds a check mid-way through the pattern to ensure twist is in correct direction.
