I love my “Harmonia’s Rings” cowl (design by Sivia Harding), but sometimes it’s a little bigger than I want to wear. So I played around and came up with this design - it’s cozy, scrunchy, and small enough to tuck comfortably into a coat. It’s also nice when your house or office is a bit chilly!

This pattern uses Cat Bordhi’s Moebius Cast On to create the moebius with no seaming.

I used this great tutorial to make extra cables for my Boye interchangeable needle set.

I would be grateful for feedback if you try this pattern. Thanks!

Added for clarity:

The cowl is constructed like the top part of a moebius bowl. The top part is a moebius twist, then it changes to a simple flared tube. It is constructed all in one piece with no seams.

The finished cowl measures approximately 26” around the inside top, and approximately 30” around the inside bottom. It’s about 6 1/2” tall. Measurements are VERY approximate!
