Pattern description from Alterknits: “This fluffy mohair pullover, easy to dress up or down, is accented with silk ribbon at the neck and sleeves and a row of tiny buttons up the sleeves. A simple cable pattern, flanked by reverse stockinette stitch, is repeated on the front and back. The natural halo of the mohair shimmers when reflected by the light.”

Finished Measurements: 34 (38, 42, 46)” chest

Yarn and Ribbon:

  • Classic Elite La Gran Mohair (76.5% mohair, 17.5% wool, 6% nylon; 90 yards/42 grams): 9 (11, 12, 13) balls. Shown in #6518 Vanessa’s blue; also shown in #6560 coleus.
  • 3 yards Hannah Silk bias-cut 3/8”-wide silk ribbon.

Needles: One set straight needles size US 9 (5.5 mm). Change needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers, yarn needle, cable needle, crochet hook size I/9 (5.5 mm), twelve 3.8” buttons.
