Moreton is a gorgeous cabled tunic featuring a criss-cross patterned bodice and front buttoning straps.
The bodice may be shirred using hat elastic and the straps and length are easily customised for a perfect fit that should see it last more than one season. Teamed with an undershirt and leggings, it’s the perfect trans-seasonal garment for your little girl.

Skill Level: INTERMEDIATE
This is a project created using basic stitches and minimal shaping and finishing. It does however, incorporate a challenging pattern stitch that will require some skill to master. Not recommended for beginners.

Moreton Island is the second of the three sand islands visible from the Redcliffe peninsula, Queensland Australia. Framing the bay, it is the backdrop for observing many sailing vessels – from luxurious cruise ships to humble “tinnys.” The criss-cross design featured on the Moreton tunic has been inspired by the crossings of these vessels across the beautiful waters of the bay.
