The shawl is worked in rows and in one piece, starting from top, the crescent shape is formed using short rows, garter stitch parts are broken from time to time by papillon motives lace edging which creates the lines of some kind of embroidery.

any fingering weight yarn (# 3 Light), for your reference I used Holst Coast, (55% merino wool, 45% cotton), 50g/350mt (1.75oz/ 191yds):
dusty pink - Verity, approx 400 mt / 438yds
beige – Tawny Owl, small amount

Needles: size US 3 (3.25mm) 24”- 26”circulars or longer circulars, adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
