What am I missing?
Mountain Chickadee Baby Blanket
I was inspired to create this blanket for a close friend who was expecting her second baby. We didn’t know if the stork was delivering a baby boy or girl, so I wanted the design to be simple yet strong, lacy yet not too frilly. I’m delighted with the results. I think it’s a perfect design for boys and girls. I hope you enjoy knitting it as much as I did.
This classic baby blanket pattern is written for three sizes, a “lovie” of 16 x 16 in / 41 x 41 cm, a stroller blanket 26 x 32 in / 66 x 82 cm, and a crib blanket measuring 34 x 45 in / 86 x 115 cm. Instructions are clearly charted and written with full abbreviations for personal preference. All measurements are given in US and metric.
This is a great blanket for anyone new to lace or for experienced lace knitters wanting a quick knit blanket as the 10 row repeat is easily memorized. The little “lovie” size makes for perfect last minute baby shower gifts.
