I am currently rewriting this pattern and it will be re-released soon!

This pattern is knitted top down seamless. The color work is half knitted in and half duplicate stitch. A rounded tip plastic yarn needle is important! I have used a pointed tapestry needle on this pattern and the foxes came out speckled even though I was carful, so invest in a plastic rounded yarn needle!

Bust: 42” (44”, 46”)
Bottom Ribbing: 48” (50”, 52”) when stretched
From Back Collar to Bottom: 24” (25”, 27”)
Sleeve: 29” Long, 12” (14”, 16”) Around
Long sleeve version is 17” (18”, 19”) from armpit to wrist

If you need a different size please don’t hesitate to ask!
1” square = 5.5 stitches x 7 rows
You can adjust the size of your sweater by the gauge. Example: A gauge that is 4 stitches to an inch will result in a larger sweater, A gauge that is 7 stitches to an inch will result in a smaller sweater.
Do not adjust the pattern to fit your gauge or the color work will be off! If you need a different size chart please feel free to email me at and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. (I don’t mean to offend any confident knitters! If you know what you’re doing then adjust away!)

I used 3 skeins of the Mist color yarn and 4 skeins of the Purple. This yarn has a great earthy texture and slight heathering to it, which adds beauty to the finished piece, but I’m sure it would look nice in other fibers!

I have also knitted it in Rico DK which took 2 skein of the light color and 3 of the dark color. I love this fiber too! Please feel free to contact me with any questions
