This pattern is for the mouse, its clothing, helmet and motorbike!

The pattern contains lots of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English, using American crochet terms. All of my patterns have been independently tested prior to publication.

You will need:
Yarn of your choice. Yarn weight doesn’t really matter - the size of your project will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used aran weight yarn for my project (equivalent to light worsted weight / weight 3) and my finished motorbike measures approximately 15cm long and 13cm tall (not including the mouse riding it). Please ensure that you use the same weight yarn to make both the motorbike and the mouse to ensure that they will fit.

For the mouse and its clothing / accessories (pages 4 - 11), you will need the following colours:

  • Main mouse colour - I used pale grey (approx. 23.5m).
  • Nose / ears / feet / tail colour - I used pale pink (approx. 13m).
  • Jacket & trousers colour - I used black (approx. 20m).
  • Helmet colour - I used green (approx. 8.5m).

For the motorbike (pages 12 - 20), you will need the following colours:

  • Main motorbike colour - I used red (approx. 50.5m).
  • Tyre colour - I used black (approx. 70.5m).
  • Mud flap / handle bar / inner wheel colour - I used dark grey (approx. 28m).
  • Windshield / exhaust colour - I used light grey (approx. 14.5m).
  • Stripe / decoration colour - I used green (approx. 1.5m).

Please Note - The amount of yarn used will vary according to yarn weight, hook size and stitch tension so these measurements are only a rough guide. The pattern refers to the colours that I used, however these can be substituted for colours of your choice.

You will also need:

  • A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.

  • A pair of 6mm black safety eyes.

  • Some toy stuffing.

  • Small amounts of black, cream, red and white yarn or thread for adding the details to the mouse’s face, the back of the jacket and the motorbike’s lights.

  • 2 black buttons for fastening the clothing. The ones I used were 15mm in diameter.

  • Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and some stitch markers.

You are welcome to sell the items that you make using this pattern, but please do not sell / share the pattern itself.
Thank you.
