Stitches required: chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, decrease, slip stitch

Materials required:

Crochet:
• Size F5 (3.75mm) crochet hook for Mr. Narwhal
• Size E4 (3.5mm) crochet hook for Baby Narwhal
• Worsted-weight yarn
• 6mm plastic eyes of your choice (for both projects)
• Yarn needle for joining the fins to the bodies
• Fiberfill stuffing of your choice
• Embroidery floss (for mouth)
• Embroidery needle

Clay horns:
• Polymer clay (small amount – a single 2 oz pack can be used for at least 10 large horns)
• Tacky glue
• Aluminum foil or ceramic tile (for baking polymer clay on)
• Optional: fine-grain sandpaper, small amounts of acrylic paint, glaze (air-dry kind; Sculpey makes 1 oz bottles in a variety of finishes)
