This shawl pattern includes knit and crochet versions.

Nine yarns are used in each shawl and these plain colours can be seen in the triangles along the top edge. The nine yarns, used in every possible combination, give a total of 36 mixed squares, making 45 different shades altogether.

The shawls can be made in any yarn but it is best if they are fairly lightweight as the yarn is used double throughout.
