‘Autumn Walks’ is about noticing those first few leaves on the ground as summer slowly ends. It is bright, clear blue skies, a fresh chill in the air and swiftly darkening evenings. It’s about putting on another layer and foraging for chestnuts, kicking through drifts of crisp or soggy leaves and a diminishing canopy of golden browns and reds. It’s Halloween and Bonfire Night and for my family, lots of birthdays.

I love autumn and begin looking forward to it in August. By this time I’m bored with summer and eager to move on and it’s just that feeling which inspired me to design this jumper. Knitted in one piece from the top down with Raglan shoulders it is hip length but, with extra yarn could easily be made to dress length.

For ages 3-4yrs, 5-6yrs, 7-8yrs

Made using Drops Alaska (100% wool)
