A perfect first birthday party dress or christening gown for that precious little baby princess.

This dress is knit from the bottom up with heart lace bordered skirt and a diamond cable bodice. The dress is finished with little puffed sleeves and tiny little buttons up the back. A generous length button panel allows for easy on and off. The bodice is fairly fitted and you will want to allow for 0-1” ease when choosing a size. Insturctions are included for a Christening Gown version as well.

The model in the first picture is 12 months old wearing the 12 month size with about 1” positive ease.

Lace pattern is charted and written, the cable is written only. Knowledge of basic cable, lace and short row techniques will be helpful.

Sizing Note: For a smaller newborn/premie baby, I suggest using a finer yarn and smaller needle size to reduce the overall size and lighten the hand of the resulting fabric.
