My First Sweater
By Knitting on the Fringe
This pattern is a very easy knit. It was designed for my customers who said they could only knit scarves! If you can knit a scarf, you can knit this sweater. It even self collars!
Sizes:
Bust: 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46
( pattern has a 2” ease)
Length:
24, 24, 26, 26, 28, 28 “ long
Note: Pattern sizes are given in order from smallest to largest- circle your size throughout pattern to avoid knitting the wrong size.
Materials:
1200, 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000, 2200 Heavy worsted/ Aran weight yarn
Guage : 4 sts per inch on size 8 needles (Be sure to check your guage and adjust needle size if necessary to get guage)
4 Large Buttons 2” diameter
150 yards contrasting yarn- optional for edging
Size 8 Needles- straight or circular
Size “J” Crochet hook for trim
