Traditional log cabin goodness meets contemporary styling…

Using fun and easy modular construction, this blanket features
Courthouse Step patterning expressed with homey, heavy worsted yarn.

Make it as shown as a couch blanket or stop anywhere along the way to make it crib or lap-sized for your favorite baby or cozy family.

YARN NOTES
This blanket can be a great stash-buster! Look for yarn that knits to 4 sts/inch in Stockinette St to get the result as shown.

Don’t be afraid to combine yarns to get the given gauge! If you hold two strands of DK weight yarn together, you will generally get a new yarn that knits to 4 sts/inch.

I used a variety of yarns from my heavy worsted yarn stash, the majority of it being Briggs & Little HERITAGE which is a great traditional wool yarn that looks wonderful and wears great.
