This pattern was originally released as a mystery knit-along and is now available as a complete pattern.

Herringbone, linen, buttons… This cowl is tailored, structured, and classic. There are three sizes, suitable for men and women alike. The bulky yarn makes this a quick project to complete in an evening or two.

Three sizes: (pictured) Small is De-Vine Muddy Autumn Rainbow. Medium is De-Vine Tina’s Silver Lining. Large is Madeline Tosh Chunky Terrarium.

Length, Width: 22.5” (32.5”, 41”) 57 (82.5, 104) cm long. 9” 23 cm wide

Yarn: Bulky-weight yarn. Suggested yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts De-Vine 100% Wool; 225yd per 200 gram skein; 1 skein for small or medium size, 2 skeins for large size.

Needles: 1 set US #10/6mm, 1 set US #13/9mm, AND 1 set US #15/10 mm 24” or longer circular needles, or size to get gauge.

Notions: tapestry needle, five 3/4”/2cm or 1”/2.5cm buttons

Skill Level: This medium-skill level pattern is worked flat in sections. Skills needed include knit, purl, casting on, binding off, picking up stitches, slipping stitches, increases, decreases, attaching buttons, and reading a written pattern.
