This a free pattern. Time to use up some of those gorgeous skeins of yarn you have in your stash!

“Ba-Da Bing” is my favorite pattern so far in my design career mainly due to the lovely women that took part in the 2012 KAL.

Gauge is not critical…don’t you love reading that? The directions help you decide what skein to use first and since you only cast on 7 stitches you will get a good feel for how the yarn knits up. The shawl primarily uses sock yarn (3 different colors where each skein has roughly 400 yards) but there are also 2 sport weight colors used (300 yards roughly for each color is needed). The use of sport weight yarn gives the shawl interesting texture. US 7 needles are used throughout the shawl and creates an elegant drape due to the nature of the sock yarn.

This project is a tremendous stash buster. Have fun making your color decisons. I hope this design brings you as much happiness that it has brought me. Enjoy xo
