Where are the Family Jewels? Just follow the trails of traveling stitches for slowly developing suspense, interesting characters, and revelations around every turn! Originally released as Mystery Sock III, this design is no longer a surprise, but will still keep you on the edge of your favorite knitting seat while the heart-laden pattern emerges! An optional bead can be added to each sock. With toe-up construction and a tricked-out no-flap gusset heel, this pattern is fun to make and beautiful to wear. It’s written for two adult sizes, and instructions are provided in text and chart formats.

SIZING: Two sizes. Ladies Medium (Ladies Large)

  • Medium Width: 7.5 - 9.0 inch circumference at ball of foot
  • Wide Width: 8.5 - 10.0 inch circumference at ball of foot
  • Foot length is determined by knitter.

YARN: Main Color: Approximately 350 yards of fingering weight yarn.

GAUGE: 32 sts = 4” in Stockinette Stitch

NEEDLES: Recommended size US 1

BEADS: Beading is optional. The pair requires two flat heart-shaped beads, approximately 15mm x 15mm.

TOOLS: Standard knitting tools and stitch markers. For optional beading: one locking stitch marker or safety pin, and one piece of thin wire or dental floss.
