Shiny scales reflecting the moonlight. The gorgeous optic colors created by Witch Candy Yarn’s “Bustin’ Outta Bushwick” colorway create a snakeskin effect when worked in a simple broken seed stitch. The pattern enhances this effect with a snaking eyelet border.

Several of my testers tried toe-up and two-at-time sock knitting for the first time and had very successful results. Don’t be afraid to try something new, this pattern will help you knit a great-fitting sock.

I use Fleegle Heel shaping which makes very nice stripes using this yarn.

errata: corrected link for Fleegle heel.
