The Naia Pullover (pronounced Na-yah) with comfortable waist shaping, wide lace panel at the back, and lace trim up the front adds a perfect touch of class to a classic design. This will be your perfect “go to” pullover.

Since this pullover is my first graded sweater design, I went looking for a name with a meaning related to “first.” I found this article taken from the May 15, 2014 issue of SCIENCE:
“In 2007 three divers, exploring a cave system filled with water about five miles inland on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, found a remarkably well-preserved skeleton. Later examination revealed it was a 15-year-old girl, and it provided amazing information about the very first people to inhabit the Americas. They named her Naia, after a mythical Greek water nymph.”
