The Naomi scarf is all knits and purls, but the combination creates a most delightful pattern. With alternating diamonds of seed stitch and stockinette stitch, this scarf has all the makings of a classic ensemble piece. Whether you choose the narrow or wide version, classic cream or a jaunty color, this scarf will certainly become a favorite accessory.

This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice to advanced knitter and all those in-between.

Both written and charted directions are included in this pattern. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 2 (3) skeins Kokomo Yarns Portland Community College 2016 Yarn, 200 yards, 100% Romney/Dorset /Rambouillet, Color Natural (approximately 400 yards for narrow and 600 yards for wide)

Needle: US 4 (3.5 mm) Signature DPNs or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 6 stitches per inch (spi) and 8 rows per inch (rpi) OR 24 stitches and 32 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette

Size: 8 inches wide (11.5 inches wide) by 57 inches long (wide shown in photos)

To alter the size: Add or subtract stitches and repeats OR adjust your gauge to increase or decrease the length as needed.
