29 inch circular needles sizes 11 and 10; 16 inch circular needles size 11; double point needles size 11 and 10 or sizes required to get the gauge.
Scrap yarn, stitch markers, blunt darning needle.
One ⅝ or ¾ inch button.

Gauge- using the larger needles in stockinette st,
13 sts and 18 rows equal 4 inches.
